It was about a year ago that I designed and developed the website for a friend of mine, photographer Eli Murray. Since that initial launch date he has quickly risen the ranks of Google and is currently the top-listed wedding photographer in Little Rock. The site has been a huge success and, flatteringly enough, his clients have actually emailed me, through his site, to let me know what they thought. Very nice.
However, he’s since moved away from marketing with a dark, elegant theme and has started marketing with a more light, modern feel. So he came back to Shift Creative.
The new logo features a simple, round figure meant to represent both a wedding ring and the lens of a camera. It had to be easily recognizable while being vague enough to be used in a variety of marketing materials.
The new website uses the same color scheme along with bigger images and a few tweaks to the blog.
I couldn’t be happier with the redesign and I hope Eli all the best!

Today I met with Tom Barron and Casey Tucker of Barron & Tucker, P.A. They’re a relatively new law firm in Little Rock and they’re looking for a new site to go along with a fresh marketing campaign for 2010.
I’m looking forward to cooking up a sweet design for their site and I’m excited to be working with a fellow Onion fan!

Sheep Dog IA is a small but agile volunteer group dedicated to assisting those in need. They came to me with the goal of revamping their design and creating a flexible administrator’s section that will grow as fast as they are.
Sheep Dog’s aim is to bypass the slow-moving bureaucracy and red tape of larger organizations. Instead, its strength lies in small, localized, independent chapters made up of those already trained and ready to help: your community’s current and former military, emergency and law enforcement personnel.
I’m really looking forward to working on this site!
